Max 200G Grommits?

I just got a Max 200G to string. Everything about this racquet is perfect except one of the shared holes which is bad.

I'm sure there's not room enough for tubing, and it appears new grommits are not available.

Any ideas from the experts??

You can do one of two things.

You can either purchase some individual grommets found here: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpage-GROMMET.htm, or you can cut a tie-off grommet off of an old (or new) grommet strip and use it in place of the bad shared-hole grommet.

(That's if you want to pay a reasonable price for them - like getting 50 individual grommets for approximately the same price that TW asks for 4 individual grommets - and I'm not kidding.)

I have all the sizes of fittex grommets,but the one that would fit two strings will not fit in hole of Max 200G. Kind of a weird frame with no bumber guard, grommets built right in??

Did you try the fittex grommets before stringing or during? The reason I ask is because strings will become thinner when they are under tension which will allow you to use a smaller grommet, one that you wouldn't be able to fit two strings into before stringing. Also it wouldn't hurt to enlarge the grommet with an awl after installation but before stringing.

BEFORE- How would you install it DURING stringing??

You misunderstood what I meant. I was asking if you just simply held a grommet in one hand and tried to fit two pieces of loose string through it with the other hand or if you installed a grommet(s) and then tried to fit the two strings through it while you were stringing. You'll find out that you will be able to fit the two strings through a grommet much easier during stringing then before stringing.
