I have the Dunlop raquet McEnroe uses, but keep it taped. Interested in trying the leather. How often does a leather grip need to be changed out? Say playing 2 or 3 times a week... non sweaty hands.

i love a good leather grip. You get such good feel with it - especially at net. There's a reason Mac and Edberg still use leather - that and we grew up playing with them.
Leather actually lasts quite a long time. The spray tack does help on hot humid days and if you sweat a lot. I usually do a quick spray as I walk on the court and it lasts the entire playing time. But you don't really need to change leather grips out very often. Maybe a few times a year - all depends on how much you play and how it wears and your personal preference for feel.
I'd say give it a try for sure -- see what you think.

In my case the leather lasts a long time, but after a year or so the grip starts moving up the handle leaving a gap. I've tried re-wrapping, but that doesn't last too long. I don't use an overgrip, that might make a difference.
