Are him and John inverdale sharing the wacky Becky ? , this is a man who stated Khachanov made 18 unforced errors in 10 games, which according to Henman equated to 3 errors per game...........And then we had Andrew Castle talking about golf during points, absolute melts the pair of them

He also said women's game is far less predictable in comparison as you can make a good case for any of the first dozen in the rankings.

If you ask me, Serena getting knocked up is probably the main reason for this WTA season being quite unpredictable.

Please don't quote **************. They are the National Enquirer/The Mirror of tennis sites only with even poorer writing. None of their supposed interviews and quotes are published anywhere else.

John Inverdale is a presenter, not a commentator. I don't know whose bright idea it was to change this at the BBC, and it seems to go back to those unflattering comments he made in 2013 about Marion Bartoli, who he has since worked with during ITV's French Open coverage for several years in a row, yet the beeb still seem to have a bee in their bonnet about it.

So Henman likes the WTA that is nearly devoid of any top talent? (Ostapenko a shining hope.)

This is one of the most wide open Wimbledon draws in a long, long time on the Men's side and absolutely loaded with talent and in form players on grass; even Djokovic is making the right moves to get back on track. Cilic, Tsonga, Nadal, Murray, Federer, Dimitrov, Zverev, and Djokovic all look like threats. Even Thiem and Gulbis making waves.

Everything is a matter of perspective. Of course the women’s game is less predictable concerning the winner if 10-20 women can possibly lift the trophy on the final Saturday of a Slam. But then, what does it mean? Nothing more than even such a winner stays irrelevant.

Maybe Wozniacki finally winning or Venus having a last hurrah almost a decade later would be a story, but anything else only bothers the respective player and her friends/relatives.

Well, at least he's safe from being vilified for thoughcrimes by voicing that opinion, however asinine.

Excellent anchor, but should not be let anywhere near a commentary box. Sue Barker doesn't commentate so why does he?

Sue never said anything nasty about Marion Bartoli. In fact Sue never says anything nasty about anybody. Safer pair of hands?

No doubt & she would likely be far superior, but why move a career anchor into the commentary booth in the first place?
