I'm sure some day you'll look back at this purchase as pivotal in your development. Answering these sorts of questions, can lead you on a journey that defines your very character. I salute you in your quest for self awareness and your spiritual awakening.

its one of those shows that are hit or miss for most people. I absolutely love the show, and the music. If you are into metal and rock, it helps because there are a lot of references to popular bands, and voice actor cameos from popular musicians. The comedy is kind of dark, and there is plenty of gore.

Go for it!!

why dont you just look up some clips on youtube and see if you find them funny

i don't want to. i don't want even to know what the animation looks like. i want to come to the show totally cold and spend some time with it to see if i like it. if i already have an idea of the humour and how it looks when i start watching, the element of surprise, of a present, will have been lost.

it's the same with CDs by bands i'm looking forward to hearing. I don't listen to the promos, the leaked singles etc, i want the CD in my hand, the artwork, the anticipation is a huge buzz and not having heard one note makes it all the more immersive as an experience when it finally goes in the player.

thanks everyone else, think i'll stick it down as a possible present.
