Hi everyone,

I did watch the video of his serve on youtube but i would like to watch frame by frame so i can understand his backswing. I was hoping that you might have it.

I saw one and it was a tennis magazine - front cover to talk about his serve entitled “The Master Blaster”. It was many yesrs ago. Hoping that soneone may have backup. Please let me know.

TIA

This serve is for a professional driver on a closed course. This is not for kids to mess around with.

Try copying Rajeev Ram's serve instead. A unique motion not used by any other player but somehow a classic.

I’m not a kid! I don’t see Ram copying Michael Stich’s serve.

Incredible that he got so much pace without jumping. No one does that today as far as I know.

Yeah, I have always wondered how he could hit the ball so hard, without even jumping in at his serve at all. He was like the total opposite of Becker, who got all the power from the jump and his back swing.

He sort of fell into the serve, he was airborne, though. Very rapid racket speed. Same as Guy Forget.
Been watching his service motion. I can see why he used his leg drive and body-shoulder rotation to generate power. Need to re-analyse his backswing properly.
