My 11.6 oz Prince Tour 100 (18x20) weighs only 10 oz (!)

So, I am weighing my Rebels to compare with my old Graphite 90 in pursuit of a replacement stick for the GP90, and just for comparison sake I put on my Tour 100. The scale reads 285 g - strung with overgrip (!).

The Rebel 95 clocks in at 351, the GP90 @347 and the Rebel 98 Team @309. All strung with overgrip.

What's up with the huge discrepancy on the Tour 100?
And no, it's not the lighter team version.

I just double-checked and the racket clearly reads Tour 100 18x20, and the string pattern is 18x20. The team and the lite have different bodies, diff PJs and 16x18 / 16x19 string patterns.

you bought on the bay? Its probably pro-stick, it is light to weight it to users needs

Btw. I weighed my other Tour 100 (16x18) which should weigh the same according to the specs on the racket. That weighed 337 g. They both have the same overgrip. I reweighed the Tour 100 (18x20). 286 g.

That's a difference of 51 g (!). No where do I put that lead? ;-)

Just weighed my pair. 11.7 and 11.9 oz with strings, over grip, and tiny Prince string damper. Unstrung spec printed on the neck is 10.9 oz.

Thanks for checking!

Btw. I've emailed Prince - so we'll see what they say.
I guess I could add lead in the handle, but that would mean handing over to a racket technician (?) and that's easily as a good chunk of the racket's msrp.

Thanks, I checked it out, as well as some of Geoff's posts.

Adding 1/4 inch led tape is withing my grasp (i.e. taping the beam on both sides of the stringbead). However, 1 inch 1/4 tape = 1/4 gram, and I have a 51 g deficit and would like to add 10 g more to get in the high 340s.

The only way I can see this work out, is to put about 40g in the handle which is not something I can easily do myself without butchering my racket :)
