Hey everyone, I'm looking for new shoes. I have a wide foot and high arches, and I where Spenco Polysorb Total Support Insoles..
I am a junior tennis player with aggressive footwork and court movement. I have always used Nike tennis shoes.

Here is a brief history, issues, and likes of my past shoes.

My biggest problem is size inconsistency.
I am looking to purchase any of the following:
-Courtballistec 2.3
-Lunarlite Vapor Tours (2010)
-Vapor VI in a size 8.5 or 9
-Breathe 2K10

2007
I went through two pairs of Nike Breathe Cage I's
-Size 9
-Liked the durability and cushioning
-Didn't like the weight

2008
Three pairs of Vapor V's
-Size 9
-Too much room in the toe box
-Not good enough traction

2009
Two pairs of CourtBallistec 1.3's
-Size 8.5
-These fit fantastically
-Loved the durability
-Wasn't a huge fan of the sole pattern
-My upper ripped on the 2nd pair

2009/2010
*Note I just recently contracted shin splints around the time I bought the Vapor VI's (February)

Two pairs of Breathe Cage II's
-Size 9
-Great comfort
-Too bulky and clumsy
-Upper is coming off from sole
-Liked the support

One pair of Vapor VI's
-Size 8.5
-The size 9's felt too long
-Loved the support and traction
-My flywire broke on one shoe
-I split the outsole in two pieces and was given a full refund from Nike
-Should I have gotten the 9's?

Let me know what you all think

Thanks in advance

Gino

Switch to the Adidas Barricades. I was a Nike junkie from juniors all the way through college. Got tired of the inconsistency of Nike from year to year and the fact that the 6 month sole guarantee should have been a 3 month for me. The Air Breathe Free II was the last Nike shoe I bought. Switched to the Adidas Barricade and I have never looked back. The Barricade V is a little heavier, but nothing you can't get used to. Great support, traction and feel from the shoe. Also very minimal break in time.
