If Nadal tanks and Grosjean ends up winning, Federer will be pleased. He probably can take out Grosjean in straights and will have a difficult time against Nadal. So I bet Federer is rooting for Grosjean to win.

Those are one of those bad calls of damn if you do and damn if you don't. The ball was clearly out, and the lines man did not call it. Grojean did play the ball and he saw the ball out but no out call, but if Grojean did not play it but no out call he still would have lost the point.

But it was funny how the French crowd was booing everytime the umpire called out the score.

The extra day should help Grosjean. He probably was feeling it is in his legs after his last round, another day off will give them a bit more rest. Maybe he will start the 4th set only feeling as bad as he did at the start of today, as oppose to what he would have felt like playing the rest of the 3rd and 4th(maybe 5th)sets today.

Yeah there has been a rain delay since the match started airing on ESPN. I don't think they will be played today since it's after 11 pm in Paris at the moment. So you really can't blame ESPN for switching to billiards.

we shouldnt get too mad ... idj49 is right... plus NBCs coverage of RG sucks... they are terrible they should continue showing AFL and hand over the full tennis coverage to ESPN... lol

The commentators said this was one of the matches of the tournament thus far, and has the potential to ignite the tournament. Although played under an hostile environment, the rallies were amazing. Grosjean showed some great touches at net, and hes forehand was booming at times. Grosjean played an almost perfect set in the second, but had to work soo hard to win every point due to Nadals supreme movement and defence. Lets hope the quality does not drop tomorrow.
