Need help choosing new racquet!

Im in high school using a Head Liquidmetal Radical oversize, and I need help choosing a racquet that will improve my play.
My liquidmetal is too powerful and doesn't have enough control now that I have improved a lot. TW says that my racquet has 29% more power than usual. My hitting has gotten more consisent during normal shots, but too erratic if I try to put in more power. Also I tried out spin strings at 58 tension which didn't work out. Strings moved everywhere and now my strings loosened up to like 50!!!

Im looking for a racquet that has:
- good control
- enough power to go aggressive
- good feel (solid)
- around 100 sq in head

Im currently looking at:
- Head microgel extreme pro (original or 2009?)
- Babolat Pure drive cortex (too many varieties to remember)
- Babolat Areo storm cortex

Can anyone suggest any good racquets other than the big brands? I heard that T-fights were pretty good. I don't know anything about K-factor...

Price wise....
The Npro Open
Ksurge- i felt it had good tamable power and Id had to really really really MUSCLE the ball for it to go out

I dont believe in completely new racquets anymore even though im waiting for the new youteks to try out

Also, I like to play on the baseline. That was my strongest point before my shots became very wild because I tried to add more topspin. Any racquet with added topspin would be nice.

The net is my weakest spot. I can't handle the fast drives straight at me. I only volley as a finishing hit.

I just bought the original MG extreme. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but really enjoyed hitting with it while demoing. It is very spin friendly and has a "good" amount of power.

Have you thought of the Head Liquid Metal Mid Plus?

In my opinion, I think the mp version has less power and a little more control than the os version. My friend has both the mp and os, and he also likes the mp better. I think they both play similar with each other.

You can consider it.

Just wondering... what's the difference between "tour", "team", and "pro" racquets? I always see those words added onto a series of racquets.

Just wondering... what's the difference between "tour", "team", and "pro" racquets? I always see those words added onto a series of racquets.

Just from what I've noticed...
"Tour" usually designates a racquet that is heavier, more HL, and sometimes has a more closed string pattern. Example: Dunlop Aerogel 4D 300 and 300 Tour.

"Team" usually designates a racquet that may be lighter than its "original" self, is more HH, and has a larger headsize. It may also be extended in length by .25 or .5 inches. Example: Wilson KBlade 98 and KBlade Team.

"Pro"... I don't know. Haha, maybe similar to Tour?

Anybody else have anything to add to this besides the Pro description?
