MAINTENANCE-FREE BALL BEARING CLUTCH

Has anyone seen or know of anyone who has this stringer? I am going to buy a stringer within the next couple of days and came across this particular one. Still up in the air on which one. Looking at X2, first time stringer for home personal use and gives me another reason to have a few beers and watch tv in the garage and not listen to "blah blah blah take out trash blah blah"

The Swing used to get a lot of mentions here (do a search), but it was out of stock for the past few months, so it disappeared from the "which one should I buy" threads. Good news that it's available again. I have one. Very solid machine, and I'm pretty happy with it.

The Swing has a pseudo 6-point mounting system instead of the X-2's two-point. It's not exactly the same as what most folks think of as a 6-point mount, but it spreads out the load to more hold points, so it has to be better for your frames.

The Swing has heavy all-metal flying clamps that are sturdier than the X-2's plastic ones.

The Swing's clutch is infinitely variable and quiet, while the X-2 uses a clicky ratchet, so the Swing might be a better choice if you want to sting a racquet at night while others are sleeping in the next room.
