New Six-One 95 plays like a 93...

I'm a big fan of the BLX version of the Wilson six-one 95. When the new one (with amplifeel) came out, I bought it. It's a great stick, but something was wrong, at least compared to the blx. It's slightly different from its predecessor, but not only in terms of feel (because of the Amplifeel technology). The new one seemed a tad less forgiving.

I decided to measure the head size, and realized Wilson had made it narrower (yet longer) than the BLX. Not by much, but maybe that's why I feel the racquet plays more like a 93 sq. inch head size than a 95.

Anyone tried the new one and have a thought on this? Thanks.

Sometimes when I restring my BLX90's, I'd have to readjust the mount a bit because each one fit differently, usually around 2-3mm. Racquets aren't made from identical molds. They're made from nearly identical molds. You'll get subtle variations even from the same model racquet.
