Didn’t see a thread.

Brady bunch and Dak to the future put on an amazing opening night game. Yesterday wasn’t as good. My packers got beat bad. I know there’s two Jets fans on here and while the offensive line and defense was atrocious they have to be happy with how Zach Wilson looked. I saw a lot of Aaron Rodgers in his college tape and he showed it yesterday. Urban “fake illness” Meyer got embarrassed by the pathetic Texans. I give it 6 weeks before another fake illness forced him to retire.

Urban Meyer is a complete joke and ruined James Robinson’s fantasy value for me

Titans looked bad without Art Smith. Art Smith looked bad with Falcons

Nagy has to be on the hot seat depending upon Fields’ play once he takes over (but when?)

Russ is cooking again but can he keep it up for a full season?

Forgot this was happening to watched these highlights. 100x better than espn commentary. Eli is hilarious

I liked the Manningcast but if my team were playing I think I’d stick with the actual broadcast. In the first half they missed some plays having them act out bits for the camera

The fourth quarter and overtime Manningcast was much better. I like how they immediate pointed out the stupidity of Carr’s hard count on the goal line. That’s something you’d never hear on the actual broadcast

My coworker is a giants fan, we bet lunch on last nights game. He called out today lol. In his defense had my team lost that way I would’ve called out too.

I love the NFL but when they started disrespecting the flag I stopped watching completely. And I know some of you use it to gamble whether it be fantasy or weekly bets, just not for me anymore.

Most sports bettors realize that betting parlays isn't the smartest way to go about business. However, many continue to bet them due to the potential of a large payday that can change their life.

A bettor at BetMGM placed a $25 parlay, picking a winner for all 16 NFL games this weekend. The parlay could return $726,959.

The first 15 legs of the parlay have won. The bettor needs the Detroit Lions to upset the Green Bay Packers on Monday night in order to cash the parlay. Currently, Detroit sits at +450 on the moneyline at BetMGM.

——

The unfortunate reality for this bettor is that oddsmakers are giving Detroit a less than 20% chance of winning this game. Due to that, the bettor is also not in a real position to hedge his bet. They would need to bet over $630,000 on the Packers moneyline in order to guarantee themselves a profit of near $97,000. Most people don't have that kind of money laying around.

The bettor might as well let the bet ride. Upsets happen all the time and it was only a $25 bet so the risk is minimal. Most people who bet Detroit on the moneyline tonight will get odds of +450. This bettor will be getting the Lions moneyline at 29,078-to-1.

Godspeed my friend.

He did quite well.

With a Lions loss always seeming like a pretty likely outcome, you couldn’t help but wonder if this bettor was able to cash out before risking such an enormous sum of money.

Thanks to BetMGM, that’s exactly what happened. BetMGM said Wednesday morning that the bettor was able to cash out for $133,000 (pre-tax, of course).

There’s another layer to this, too. The 16-team parlay was actually made using a free $25 promotional bet. Ordinarily, BetMGM does not provide a cash-out option for free bets. This time, though, the company made an exception “due to the amazing picks and unlikely odds.”

Fins/Raiders in OT after a great drive by Brissett.
Derek Carr has to be the MVP of the season, so far. As long as he stays healthy, he'll get over 5000 yards even if his current level dips. Which it will because he is on pace for an absurd 6800 yards

It's been a really rough year for rookie quarterbacks. I believe only Mac Jones has won a game and that was against the abysmal Jets starting a rookie of their own. It's too soon to call any of these guys a bust, though

Kyler may have something to say about that, 10 total TDs to 6.

I assume you’re a Broncos’ fan? That Giants/Jags/Jets start is about as friendly as possible, but 3-0 is 3-0.

ATP got the inspiration for the shot "clock" from the NFL play "clock".

Every game has at least 1 clear missed delay of game. Too bad a billion dollar corporation can't have some type of horn installed?

Very few things as entertaining as a great football game, and Niners--Packers last night was one of those. Mr. Rodgers is back and he means business

Beat the Niners and the refs ayeeeeeeeeeeeeee

One of the worst reffed games I’ve ever watched. No call on the intentional grounding by Jimmy G at the end of the half (would’ve resulted in a 10 second run off and no TD), the no call on Adams getting laid out, and the roughing the passer by Jaire were so bad. Thank god Godgers, Adams, and Crosby came through again.

TLaw will be fine once Urban quits. Wilson too, he’s passed the eye test for me. You can see the arm talent in both guys I’m not worried. Wilson has also had three tough matchups to start. Fields got thrown to the wolves and Nagy is a terrible coach. Not ready to write him off yet. Jones looks like a game manager with an extremely low ceiling. Lance hasn’t played yet but I’m not a fan of his tape.

Letting Davante catch 2 for 42 on the last drive is just absolutely inexplicable. Triple him if you have to, pretty sure MVS, Cobb, or Tonyan ain’t gonna hurt you.
