Nike long check shorts

Hi right now i play with the nike long woven shorts in Medium and on TW it says these shorts run big, so should i order a small. im mostly concerned with how they fit around the thigh, i'd like them to fit a little tighter like my woven ones. also the woven's waist fits snug so.

sorry i worded that terribly i have the woven and i love the fit, so what i wanted to know was to get the same fit in the long check shorts should i order small?

i ordered a pair and the waist was HUGE. im a 32 waist and it couldve easily fit a 40. im getting a small sometime this or next week, hopefully theyll fit.

answering your question, i think they would fit a little bit tighter, but it wouldnt be a huge difference
