Nike Oscillate Durability question(need quick response!!)

I've been a Barricade user for years, and upon reading about the release of the Oscillates, my interest has been peaked except for the durability. I've had bad luck with Nike durability in the past, and I'm strictly an Adidas man now.

However, on this site, there seems to be a common agreeance that the Oscillates are great court shoes but with short durability. But if you read the ad on tw.com, it says the outsole was upgraded from the original to a new DRC-2 material.

Is this true? How long does this outsole last?

I got ~4 months out of my Barricade IV's.

I'm going to order a new pair of shoes to wear while I send my Barricades back for warranty(I hear it takes a month), I've got like a week left, so the sooner you guys respond, the better!

P.S. I'm also concerned about sizing, I wear 10.5 adidas, so should I get an 11 or 11.5 in Nike?

I would contact Nike and ask them about the new sole.

Go up 1/2 size. I normally wear an 11 and sent up to 11.5. They fit great and I have a wide foot.

i wear 9 in barricade 2 and nike breathe free 2 as well as others and got a 9.5 in the oscillate and it felt a little snug on the side next to to my two small toes...thinkin about getting a size 10 cause i also have orthotics i use and could use the space...as for durability i rember the old oscillates in highschool lasting me 3 weeks give or take...id say a month max if i remember right...upgrading the outsole or not i dont think they will last that long...but they are a good game day shoe but it doesnt sound like you have that option right now...
