Toe looks "low" to me, and as I have issues with losing big toenails, I suspect I should stock up on the Zoom Zero before they are gone. Hopefully, someone will review the fit and that won't be the case.

I feel you buddy. I need a higher toebox as if I can't wiggle my toes, my feet go to sleep (numb). The ZC4 I stayed TTS as while it looks low, there is good room. This looks the same. But even if it's a little low, I'll size up .5 and will be fine.

Was the zoom zero limited in the toebox? Has anyone had a chance to try this on?

I comfortably wear a 9 in the vapor x, but the toebox is pretty roomy... wondering if i can snag a 9 in this

Yup. I'd post a pic but I know the mods don't appreciate it so I won't. The color is listed as White/Laser Fushcia-Sapphire-Hot Lime. Basically think ATC III above with the Cerise (red) color from the ATC IV clothing. And a small flaming ball logo just in front of the Swoosh. The inside toe piece is Hot Lime. It's gonna be AWESOME!! It's a 1st day purchase for me, once I know what the sizing is like (tts or half up). Gotta wait a few weeks to see it.

Agreed, its the full on circle shapes, bright colors, and the "paper-craft" look of the lace holders; all very Toy Story. BUT, I dig them and eager to try. I've been complaining about not having full zoom air for years.

If you're talking about the review on Niketalk, I read that too. Extremely disappointing if true. The got the Cage 4 right. Why go back to narrow?

Yes.... That's the one i saw. I've been waiting for years for nike to put proper cushioning under the toes. I hope Nike didn't screw up the fit in these shoes.

You and me both. I replied to his post about putting it next to a current Nike tennis shoe to get a sense for length. I want the Agassi pair so badly and I'll make it work no matter what. But I hope they aren't that narrow.

Worried about the primary material on the upper. Looks like the same material from the Vapor Wing, which have pretty poor flexibility and are very narrow and felt cheap, in general. I know this is an actual court shoe instead of a casual one like the Wing, but that material just sucks.

Is one of the zoom units in the strobel of the shoe?

It looks like a slightly more rigid version of the stanchions that are used in the vapor x, which has the softest and most adaptive fit in tennis.

Agree about the PG4. The only thing I struggled with was the lateral containment. It felt like their wasn't enough of a container for those types of sharp sidewards movements. It might be because I'm a medium / wide foot. Do you feel they lock you in enough on quick cuts and this type of movement?

I feel you man! I had to do that with the ZZ’s but fortunately they loosened up and now I can wear thicker socks. Hopefully the GP Turbos are at least a tad bit wider.

Sounds like unconfirmed sizing information? I want to try this shoe pretty bad. Coming from Cage 3 (10) or Fresh Foam Lav (9.5), with of course a slightly narrow foot.

Waiting to hear a sizing comparison to the Zoom Zero whenever someone gets a chance. The extra cushioning in this model sounds like the ticket for me and my horrible feet. If they're much narrower than the ZZ, though, I may have to look elsewhere.

I ordered mine so should be here this coming Wednesday and hope they aren't as clunky as the zoom zero. I am using basketball shoes until they make a decent Nike Air zoom tennis shoe that offers the cushion, stability, and comfort of a basketball shoe.

I've been wearing adidas crazy light boost bball shoes for about 3 years. They've been great tennis shoes and fantastic cushioning.... No more painful metatarsalgia!

I was going to n pull the trigger on the wimbledon colorway but I'm holding off on this purple trimmed colorway. Hopefully, a couple more colors come out on the 13th.

Got mine in the mail today. Will play with them in a few hours. First impressions after an initial try-on.

1) I had to go up to a size 10. Currently wearing 9.5 in the Asics Court FF 2. Previous shoes included Lav in 9.5, Ultra Shot in 9.5. I wore ZZs in 9.5, but did have 2 pairs which had popped Zoom units, so I never wore those more than 1 month.

2) These are on the narrower side of things - but not cramped (like a Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 3). I hope these stretch a little.

3) There are a lot of different textures/materials. In this Wimbledon color way, these all have different tones of white (bright, eggshell, off, etc)

4) Stack height looks high but doesn't feel high.

5) Upper lacing system seems to be nicely customizable to fit many people. And it breathes better.

I am looking forward to giving these a fair try.

Sorry! Not the originally pictured one that TW had. Mine has the purple swoosh and white outsole. The retail version of what I presume the athletes would have worn at Wimbledon.

I'm actually pleased to report that these broke in so quickly and the uppers do loosen up. ZZs, from what I remember, had a wider toe box. I'm liking the cushioning. It no longer has that 'rocker' feel - which I didn't really mind.

The one review on Nike for them said they were around 60g heavier than the ZZ. Their example was 13.4oz for a size 9.5 ZZ and 15.6oz for a 9.5 GP Turbo

Getting my tomorrow so will take them out either tomorrow evening or the following day to try.

Good to hear that it doesn't have that rocker effect as the zoom zero felt clunky to me compared to my basketball shoes.

For me, the GPT is almost a different shoe in terms of what the ZZ was. It's about 18% heavier, slightly less spacious in the toes, a smidge narrower in the forefoot, but wider in the outsole for stability (which was one of my gripes about the ZZ). I played 2 hours of dubs on Plexicushion and the GPT wear should be around the ZZ, may even slightly better. The court responsiveness is better than the ZZ, which I felt was muddled. It's definitely more stable. The traction was a little difficult to judge on the lateral runs. For net advancement and back tracking, it felt decent and a bit more slide friendly, a little too much for me as I slid too much and touched the net trying to run down a drop volley.
For fit, it's only the toe box that is less spacious. The ZZ did squeeze the tuberosity of my metatarsal a little when I cinched it tight to prevent lace slippage. I don't have that problem with the GPT, and the lacing system I can't say much about as I switched it out for lock laces, because I hated the ZZ hoop slippage.

They are called "Locked Laces". They are much more expensive than typical laces but worth every penny, since you can tighten and there will be some give from the elastic.
