I dislike how just about all of his shirts have that side piping that goes to no where. But than again I hate this in all pro sports kits so maybe it's just me n

It almost seems that the all white dress code has got stricter over the years.

Borg's shirts had navy or green collars and pinstripes, McEnroe's had bold stripes across the chest or shoulders, Lendl's and Edberg's had the bold argyle print. They were all fine at the time.

But now it's just got so bland.

I'm all for the traditions, but a bit of colour here and there doesn't offend.

Mind you, most tennis outfits are so 'samey' these days. All those players wearing the same outfits as each other. A boring lack of variety.

Like most of the players are the same.

Memo to Nole: Uni qlo is so euro trash, get on board with Nike already. Stop wearing those little boy PJ shorts.

I think the Barricades will stop him from coming to Nike. I don't see him changing shoes within his career.

It has.

In particular, they've made it stricter since 2014, when they introduced the "10-part decorum", a set criteria for clothing companies to follow. Basically any trace of coloured patterns has to be limited to a very specific area and to a very specific (minuscule) amount.

One would note that Nike has stuck purely to a black swoosh for all its players since then, whereas before they played around with gold (Federer, Serena), green, orange etc.

Such a joke…WImbledon lets Serena flash her size XXXL orange underwear on every shot but Fed can't have orange soles on his shoes?? wtf.
Well, with all due respect, women should be allowed to wear darker underwear for obvious reasons.

Pretty sure Wimbledon tightened the rules about all-white clothing last year so that players are only allowed black accent colours(?)
No gold for Nole.

It was 2014. You can see Fed's retail shirt had a gold swoosh while the one he actually wore had a black one.

Ditto with the rest of the Nike athletes.

Interestingly Nole's shirt last year had tiny hints of green and purple in the striped seams.
