Pacific racquet grommets to fit Fischer racquets?

Hey, everyone:

So for anyone who's looked closely, I'm sure you've noticed lots of similarities and even things that are exactly the same between some Pacific racquets and Fischer racquets.

I'm a Fischer M Comp 95 user in desperate need of grommet sets.

Will Pacific grommets from any of their racquets fit the M Comp 95?

Thanks!

Their 95 sqinch racquet grommet should fit but its not released yet.
As I heard from the local dealer it will come though. Pacific is re-releasing the latest Fischer racquets in popularity sequence the 95 and the tour 100 should be coming soon

Damn, and thought it was only me. I cracked one just the other day & couldn't find any online.

If its true about them releasing a version of the M-Comp, then let's hope the pallet system matches as well. I have a few w/ cracked handles.

Although, if its a Black Granite M-Comp, I may just move on to that...

They still haven't released their version of the M-Comp 95 yet.

I'm sure as soon as they release it you will only be a couple of weeks away from replacement gromets.

Yeah I havent used them well since they stopped making the rackets lol. Both grommets got destroyed ( never had that happen before go figure on both).

Resurrecting an old thread...

Anyone have any experience with the Pacific X Force Comp grommets now sold on TW fitting into the Fischer M Speed Pro Number One 105 (or any other Pacific grommets fitting Fischer equivalents, for that matter)? The X Force Comp looks to be the same frame and I have a customer who needs 2 new grommet strips and was just curious if there was any info before I order.

Well, in case anyone cares...

I can verify that the Pacific X Force Comp grommets do fit the Fischer M Speed Pro Number One 105.

Thanks. Just sold a Fischer with spare Pacific grommets that I was assured would fit. Nice to know my buyer won't be in for a shock!

I realize this is going to be a huge image, but I'm doing it just so you can see the Pacific labeling on the grommet, yet also see its a Fischer M Speed Pro Number One 105:

I think the Fischer M Speeds were great rackets. It's just that their marketing stunk. "Magnets that pushed the frame apart on impact to give more power"--who would believe that. Putting metal around them, I didn't see any magnetic action at all.

It was actually featured in popular science the time it was released.

I was disappointed by the company's choice to go that route, too. The M-Speeds came out at the same time I finished a couple of decades of being sponsored by one company and not really knowing what the other companies were making.

I was all excited about looking around and choosing a racquet to buy. M-Speeds were on sale, but when I read the ad copy on them I passed them by, thinking that Fischer must have stopped being serious while I was "away". I feel now like I missed out on some great sticks because some marketing guys couldn't tell me straight why they were great and instead played to what they must have assumed was the public's short attention span and attraction to shiny BS.

Sure, everyone else (except Avery and Vantage, and maybe a couple others) does it too. But I don't think Fischer really had to.

Yes, they do. The ones for the X Force Comp fit the M Pro No 1 105" as well.

the same ones fit two different head sizes?
You know that I called to order them at TW, and they said to me they won't fit???
Have you tried them on your own racquet?
thanks

No, there are these for the X Force Comp, which fit the M Pro No. 1 105":
and these for the X Force Pro 16x20, which fit the M Pro No. 1 98":

Yes. While I now use the X Force Pro, I used the M Pro No. 1 prior (black/green/yellow) and replaced the grommets on those w/ the X Force Pro ones. Not to mention that when you put the two up against each other, you can see it is the exact same frame, holes & all.
