that shouldnt be too much of a problem. i would put bumper tape on the whole bumper guard or just buy a new guard all together.

you just need a new bumper, but unfortunately its needs to be restrung in order to do that, which may be a blessing in disguise. Was your racquet prestrung? This would be the chance to get the strings and tension you like on that badboy.

unfortuantly i got it all custom when i bought it i tested it out properly today it was awesome. exept for the not so awesome look of it with tape on it. can i use the same strings when i restring it or do i need to pay for new ones and also is there a particular bumper that i need or will most fit it.

The grommet/bumper is specific to the racquet or sometimes series of racquets. They are very inexpensive, about $5, but can only be replaced when restringing.

No - you can't use the same strings, you'll need to pay for new ones when you get your racquet restrung. If the damage isn't bad, go to your local tennis shop and buy some head protection tape and use that until you need to restring. Then get a new grommet later when you get your racquet restrung.

Here's the grommet you need for an O3 Speedport Red:

That's a nice stick, enjoy it!

Just got it and the bumper cracked; that's a hard kick in a soft place isn't it.

I like to use head protective tape. Most pro shops should have it. But with the O port racquets it makes it difficult. Plan electrical tape might actually work better in this case as it is not as wide as regular headtape. Two strips on either side, worth a try.
