Plz get Fed to explain his fh/bh etc instead of youtubers' 'forensic analysis':)))))))...........

I'd really like Fed come out to explain his fh/bh especially his fh frame by frame in details, or at least 1 of his team member doing the analysis for him to explain it as I personally think Fed is 1 of the most effective/efficient fhs ever in human history. Right now all the youtubers 'tutorials' sound like inconsolable 'forensic analysis/examination'. I don't think Feb mind sharing this with the rest of the world.

Last Sunday a father/son pack I came across on the courts n the TE dad couldn't play with his 15 yro son so asked me to have a hit with him. According to what the boy said he got 'private coach' $60/hr a few times wkly but the fh was just shocking n right on the net or long by who knows what straight flat to the fence. Occasionally 2m 1m long still countable but straight flat my 6ft height on the fence, simply lost word n count. Though most of early/mid teens doing that n a lot saying copying 'Fed analysis' on the youtube ie racket butt cap point the ball then 'snap' wrist..........well, the wrist/arm won't last long n then good chance for me to buy their Babo PD really really cheap....lol.........:)))))..................

Fed really should come out here or on youtube to say something:))))...................................

You won't get a good answer out of him, so why bother.

Why:?)))..........he's got mil n mil fans around the world n 00s mil$ from fans so I think he'll be more than happy to do it instead of letting his slow motion video focused on his upper body arm wrist etc to mislead mil n mil kids. Just like smearing some public figures by taking couple of words out of the whole context/situation by some evil media...........

The main benefit from such a thing would be to know what he feels he is doing.

A lot of the pros actually wouldn't know how to analyse their own strokes.

The illusion is the racquet, pay no attention to it. The real information is what’s happening with the swing path.

Tomaz from Feel Tennis has done a series of videos removing the racquet, you may be surprised at the engine underneath the hood.

That video doesn't explain anything of value.

In fact, it is misleading, as far as how the efficiency of the stroke is achieved.

Federer got same FH as Bjørn Borg.
I found a video of BB explaining the FH in the smallest detail. But now I cant find it. Its out there on the web somewhere. It was either youtube or that other site.

Thanks a lot mate, it's the much much better video! The best video re. Fed fh I've ever seen so far n I'll let those a few silly boys know this. It's crucial to take a complex system apart when doing trouble shooting n problem solving. I do believe Fed has been doing the analysis with some best math/physics experts in order to maximize the winning odd ie like R&D in a manufacturer reducing cost n maintain higher quality to win the competition. All the topguns must have been doing it as they can afford it ofc not for the lower ranking guys. So 1 of them should come out n clear the air to reduce the chances of misleading resulted in so many kids getting injured.

I guess that the above poast is all we will see as an arguments as to why you think that that video improves the efficiency of a FH stroke.

I am particularly mesmerised by the removal of the raquet, and how exactly its absence contributes to the improvement of the said efficiency.

LOL Fed doesn’t even know what his FH grip is called.

Even if he didn't know, he must knew from his team after reached the very top n stayed there for so long. Modern sport science won't ignore any opportunity like this. The strange thing's why the guys like Fed won't come out to clean up once for all.

What's in his mind when he watches all sorts of the youtube 'tutorials' re. his fh:?))))............

Only internet noobs think fed analyzes his strokes and knows what is pronation or isr or so lol....

Fed like any other pro does things by feel, and trial and error, and hitting a stroke 100000000000000 times.
Its all built in, instincts and automatic execution, from countless hours of experience and trial and error, improving things by experience and feel.

Not watching a video and saying oh I shpuld probably rotate my pinky 3 degrees more around the handle and drop the racquet tip 5mm lower and at a 2 degrees lower angle... LOL

In flow, you don't think.

You just do.

That's why players know perfectly how it feels, and that's much, much more important than being able to explain the frigging biomechanics.

just do it, niked truth:))).................well, lucky 1s don't think, just do it, all embed/instinct. but that's after got everything right n played for many yrs though w/o much injuries. A lot of people especially youngsters got wrong idea n went to wrong direction then went further n further away from their goals n got injured, depressed n stressed out..............so the guys whom mil n mil are inspired by should come out to clear the air, in a way like 'celebrity clear up rumors', right:?))).......

Believe it or not, similar things happen more common in martial arts especially in Chinese Kung Fu and karate. Luckily Tennis stroke is way much simpler.

There are things to be alerted when watching video or even in naked eye. But naked eye actually give more hints even the observer don’t realize it’s existence.

One is mental set. How the mind thinks and imagined when making such stroke. What is the original mental instruction passed to mechanism.

Be aware we are not Fed’s flesh, thus I don’t execute same as he does.

Second is the muscle training required to execute command. Without the foundation, one can’t possibly use muscle and tenant as Fed. Even movement is same, but it’s not same.

Then, it comes on how a stroke should be properly execute.

Most time, people put there own imagination to explain how things happened but it’s really not the same. One use result to back trace what took place. Unfortunately, it’s not leanier and it’s not possible.

I would urge Fed open a tennis academy and make a proper business out of it. We would like to pay to learn.

What this video lack is the line and timing of waist turn.

Fed’s hiting starts in feet, knee, waist, shoulder, wrist, the. Racquet. That is why the racquet head snack back at beginning of swing. Simply because the buttcap move forward before the head even started to move.

The traditional or wta swing is a pull. It also starts in foot and waist. But it has multiple point of initial force starter. The rate of waist turn is also different.

Wta stroke is more energy saving and powerful but require more control of multiple area. The Fed or atp stroke require early setup, preparation, more energy to execute but actually a simpler technic.

Might as well ask nick how he serves.

This video is the best video I watched so far as at least it got rid of the illusive racket with whole body view. I came across a lot of Fed fh slow motion youtubes only focus on upper body/arm/wrist/racket n a lot of kids trying to copy that with stationary chopstick-straight legs, I even saw some 'coaches' feeding balls to the early teens facing the ball rotating/twisting their wrist hard to get pace/topspin in 'Fed style'. Wtf the coaches were doing:?))) pocketing the nontennis parents $$ conducting early teen's wrist endurance test:?))) that's quite a few yrs ago, 1 of my son's team mates when playing junior comp. Then got wrist injury/TE out of sight since damn lost his dad's contact no. otherwise another couple of cheap Babo PD n Princes for me:)))).................no exception every1 of them blames their 'rackets/strings' n so angry that sell their rackets really cheap. Bad thing is >1/2 of them just simply quit tennis.

Hope more video like this came out to clear the air as it's a very very basic/common practice to apply to anything ie taking apart any complex issue to do the trouble shooting ie modulating/isolating cross chk so at least can test/exam the '+-db gain' 'noise' etc etc 1 by 1 to find out where the root of the problem is................well easy talking hard walking............:)))).................get mighty Feb come out to clear the air to save our well illusionized kids, lol mate:))))..........................

Could you possibly post some of those videos that concentrate only on the area you are talking about, but don't talk about the legs/hips/turn etc.?

If anything, this video is concentrating on showing something while removing crucial piece of information.

Thanks.

sorry man i don't have any video. hydrocella's video, i personally think, is by far the best though no explain re. lower body legs etc. which the video should focus on but people can at least clearly see there's no excessive wrist 'twistnturn' etc funny illusion. I hope they can produce more of these with modulated/isolated Fed body parts movement like feet/legs etc but I think that'd be Fed's call, a lot more convincing.

I personally watched a lot of Fed Nadal etc etc video but ignored what all those 'coaches' saying though a few coaches saying right things n quite ok. I only focus on those topguns foot work legs/body n ignore their arms/wrists/hands/rackets etc as personally i don't use my arm much at all so no need to watch others arms etc:))))...........n also I've got so many rackets over 100 (not that many now as sold a lot:)))) n tried all but found no differences TO ME at all (ofc huge differences to the balls:)))) why i look at topguns's rackets:?))).........only bring me attention if they get TE n hate the rackets then sell to me really cheap instead of smashing them:))))....lol...........

.........but don't talk about the legs/hips/turn etc.?

........

wat doya mean man:?))) 'the legs/hips/turn' + the free gravity on my racket head + free gravity on my 'body forward fall' maybe count 90% of the energy for my ball striking, hard to quantify it but at least 80% I reckon. Only use more arm/wrist/hand when the ball far out of my 'pre-determined/imagined' hitting zone/space n very very uncomfortable n no pace/accuracy n fall short like sitting duck n might just let it go:))))))).....................

I don't understand what this post says.

I was talking about those "lot of Federer, Nadal etc. etc. video" you were mentioning that were that bad, and to which you compare this video you consider excellent.

It is interesting to me that you say that you predominantly pay attention to footwork etc. and ignore "arms/wrists/hands/raquets", and simultaneously are in awe of the video that has its main focus on the path that the hand follows as a result of the movement of the body and subsequent movement of the raquet.

I was just curious what you are comparing it to, that is all.

Please post some of those videos with bad advice and explain if possible why exactly that advice was bad.

There're 2 things I like that video:
1. no excessive wrist 'twistnturn' stuff due to taking out the illusive racket.
2. The full body view ie foot work. That's exactly I want to watch this goat:)))..........

I forgot how many times I was watching the topguns slow motion video n blablabla--ing all the bsht re. their arm/wrist/hand facing up/down stuff just simply turnoff the audio n only watch their foot work n the way they positioning themselves ie spacing as i don't use much arm etc anyway. But so so annoying zoomed in only upper body on the screen then i simply moved on to next video but happened again. Forgot how many times already. For gods or whatever's sake if i want to look their arms I might go for the one's they were chasing down some very difficult wide shots then to see how they used their arms/wrists to return the ball....like fh slice or something:?))))............

We are not seeing eye to eye.

You repeat what you already told me, and don't give me what I ask for.

Also, whatever this video is trying to achieve it is not focused on the footwork, and the most "amazing" part (the missing raquet) actually means that the area on focus is the one you say you are not interested in, so why are you in awe from it (and please, do not repeat the same thing for the 4th time)?
