Poll: Would you prefer to watch Isner vs Opelka @Dallas; or Ruud vs Schwartzmann @Buenos Aires

The ATP Tour has shown stark variety this weekend; as it’s thrown up two matches that are polar opposites.

The Isner vs Opelka ATP Dallas SF saw 0 break points, as Opelka won 7-6 7-6 including a thrilling 24-22 2nd set TB. On a tailor made super fast hard court.

On the other hand, the ATP Buenos Aires final on clay will see two shot markers with relatively poor serves. Ruud vs Schwartzmann, which starts in a few hours.

Which would you prefer to watch? This may also say something about the direction you want to see tennis go in.

I'd rather watch Opelka v Brooksby than Ruud v Diego. I'd rather see variety than claybots or servebots.

No one would rather watch Opelka v Isner lol.

Dude, no one will vote for Isner vs Opelka. If you typo’d that and meant both finals, it’ll be more even. But Isner Opelka is why the entire tour changed court surface speed 20 years ago.

I was actually pretty entertained by the Isner-Opelka match. I don't think I normally would be, but that super tiebreak made it more interesting than it should have been. But yeah, hands down I'd rather watch Ruud-Schwartzman.

Yesterday, turned on Tennis Chann. at the tail end of set 1 of Diego Schwartzman-Sonego in a classic matchup of attacker vs. counterpuncher/grinder-riveting rallies imho. Then, had to listen to a Pam Shriver’s cringeworthy, blatantly forced pitch for the Isner-Opelka match that they’d soon switch too…
