Poor (declining) Quality of ATP Clothing Line

I have several of the new ATP world tour t-shirts and I am very displeased of the quality of them. After just 1 or 2 washes the charcoal atp logo tee has lost off of its elasticity and the neck looks like a worn out fruit of the loom shirt. It doesn't fit at all as it did when new.

A few years ago, the ATP clothing line was far superior and i wish i could buy those shirts again. they were thick, and had that abercrombie-ish feel to them, and not to mention the collars were of good quality and didn't stretch out and lose elasticity.

Anybody else have this problem?

I have regular athletic shirts and I really like Adidas and Nike. They are very good quality and look great. I dont see why people buy these replica shirts of the pros when they are the exact same quality or worse according to your post then the stock ones.

I agree the quality is terrible. I bought an ATP hoody from TW and in 2 or 3 washes the color/dye is already fading, making it look really bad. In contrast I have volcom, DC, Nike etc hoodys that I've had for many years that are not fading out. Shame on the ATP for using the lowest quality materials available. I'll never buy another ATP apparel product again.

This is the old story with secondary businesses. ATP is not a clothing company, probably doesn't have competent people looking after that end of things. Buy clothing from clothiers.

Probably but that's not the issue. Plenty of well made products come from China. They will make the product to the quality specification the customer wants. This is just a case of the ATP cutting corners to save a buck.

The NBA, NFL, NHL, etc all put out quality lines of apparel even though that is not their primary function. The ATP has no excuse.

I despise cheap tshirts and anything else that doesn't last very long.

You have to avoid saying things like "well its made in China". The fact is the quality of the materials are selected by the company.

Chinese companies have access to the highest quality materials as well as any other company in other countries. Companies just select the lowest quality materials to maximize profits.

Food for thought.

Destroyer Out.
