Prestige Classic 600 grips (old vs new)?

I've recently purchased two new Prestige Classic 600's (with the brown plastic sleeve right above the grip). 4 1/2

One was the newer "re-released" frames that are "designed in Austria" but assembled in Czech Republic (avail here at TW). The second one (brand new) came from a guy in England, and appears to be the older model designed and assembled in Austria.

Both are 4 1/2 grips but they feel completely different! The older model has that familiar HEAD rectangular shape that I've always had with other Head frames. The newer Czech assembled grip feels more rounded (and slightly bigger).

This is annoying...has anyone else found this to be true? Is it the pallet shape, or just how its gripped (both have the Head calfskins)?

What should I do to match them up? I'm thinking I should just sell the older style so I can have two that feel the same...since the newer models are obviously easier to find.

Thanks

I have many Made in Austria Prestige Classic 600's and Designed in Austria finished in Czech Republic Prestige Classic 600's. All of mine have the same grip shape no matter what year they were made. But if you are unhappy with the grip shape of one of the racquets you don't have to sell it and get another. You can attempt to get another Prestige Classic 600 pallet for the racquet. HEAD racquets have a interchangeable pallet system.
