I have been doing some researching and I'm assuming that the "port grommet inserts" are solely for the "inserts." Self-explanatory. And that the "port grommet" is the bumper guard/black pieces. I don't understand why it would be sold seperately though? I am so frustrated right now.

I need a confirmation on that assumption though.

Anyone know? Please?

You have the choice some may want to add the string hole inserts if they purchased the rackets with just the ports.

I know, but I just want a clarification on the products. I plan to purchase both port and string hole grommets.

call up the toll free number tomorrow and speak to a live person. i'm pretty sure they'll be able to clarify.
