I need help!
I've been playing with the Prince NXG Mid for the last year and have been reasonably happy with the racquet. Lots of Topspin, reasonably stable and loads of control from the baseline. Serving and volleying just OK.
That was until I tried the PS 6.0 85...Great serving racquet. Amazing volleys. Amazing control. Really small sweet spot though.
I decided to carry on with my NXG but was a bit unhappy with the volleying serving aspect of the racquet.
Then I tried the Diablo...much stiffer than the nxg, great for serving and volleying. REALLY STABLE. But I'm finding it a little too powerful. Also I use a western forehand and I'm not sure the diablo is as whippy as the nxg which is useful on low forehands. I could put a poly in to control the racquet but I've been having mild elbow pains lately so...
Do I try and control the power of the diablo?
Carry on with the NXG? Maybe lead it up and lower tension to give stability/power on serves.
Or...just go with with the PS 6.0 85??
I know everyone loves the PS 6.0 85 and it is a nice racquet BUT the fact is noone really uses it in the pro game anymore. I am no pro but I play college tennis in the UK and hit with lower ranked pros so I would consider myself an advanced player.
PS. Sometimes I wish I had never found this forum because I would have just stuck with my nxg mid!!!
