Question On The Wilson Nblade

G'day folks, I was just wondering what racket is Feliciano Lopez using?

Because last time I saw him live on television he was using Babolat's Pure Drive and just recently I saw on the PDF wilson team update on Wilson's official site that Feliciano has signed with wilson and the picture shows that he's hitting a backhand slice with the Wilson NBlade.

My question is, do you think that despite the fact that he's got the NBlade paint job on it, is the racket underneath still the Babolat Pure Drive?

Your views are much appreciated.

I really doubt that he has a nblade pj over a pd since it would be really hard to make them look the same due to major frame shape differences.

It's a weird scenario. I've seen pictures of Lopez's so called "nBlade" and it has the PWS and a 16x18 string pattern. The retail nBlade has no PWS and has a 18x20 pattern. So I believe that he his using a n61 95 under that nBlade PJ. It weird but it does makes sense. I believe that Wilson has enough people sporting the n61 that they need to advertise the newer nBlade by having newly signed players either play with the actual nBlade or an nBlade PJ over the Wilson racket of their choice.

Sorry, I have no relationships with Wilson reps but I'm merely going by my own observations.

That is true, his racket has a 16x18 pattern. But the characteristic that gives the PJ away is the PWS - which are the little bumps at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. Marketing...
