I've been used some demos the last few weeks. I really like the Yonex RDIS 200 and the Wilson BLX blade 98.....but for different reasons. The Yonex feels wonderful when I hit the sweet spot and I can swing it all day with hardly any arm fatigue, but I'm not so consistent with it. On the other hand, I feel very consistent and steady with the Blade, but it feels like a sledgehammer and makes my arm sore. Now the other variable here is string and tension: these come with whatever string and tension the demo comes with. The Yonex feels strung at lower tension than I usually play with and the Blade is higher.
So what to do? Is it easier to tighten up the Yonex with string or soften up the Blade to something more arm-friendly?
