Regression is progress

It is official, I am getting a new racquet...prince exo3 hornet 100. I played with a local demo and think this could be the racquet that saves my arm. It is stiff and light, but no real shock to the arm. Since I have been playing a maxply fort for the last year, it was tough to keep the ball from sailing into the back fence. After an hour I had moderated all my strokes and it took a lot of pressure off of my arm...especially my backhand! I look forward to playing more soon.

Has anyone else played this racquet? Thoughts, comments, observations?

I will voice my concern, that playing a stiff and light racquet to save your arm is a very risky move, but if you play well with it I guess it's fine. Have you at least given the Prince Tour 100 a try? It will be much easier on your arm.

EXO3 racquets indeed are comfortable, so I'm not surprised. You could try other EXO3 frames too.

I read that a lot here, and honestly it seems the opposite to me. This racquet gave me far less trouble than my old muscle weave 200g. The advice most give about TE is better suited to young men who can swing away with a heavy stick. I like it that I don't have to rip every shot to get it deep.

I am a traditional serve and volley man with flat strokes. These racquets are supposed to be all spin, but I hit flat just fine with it.
