Renzo Olivo gets violent after losing

In the Challenger of Perugia, Argentine tennis player Renzo Olivo, lost in straight sets against the Kazakh Timofey Skatov by 75 75. After losing his serve, Olivo hit a ball that destroyed the floodlight and made it fall to the floor. Fortunately, there were no injured.

That’s nothing. In a Junior tourney 30+ years ago, my opponent chucked his racquet up and it embedded into the fluorescent light fixture, raining shards of brittle plastic down on the court 40 feet below. I was hoping the tournament director would default him. But my opponent was allowed to continue after being asked to sweep up the debris, and he finished the job and beat me in straight sets.

To be fair, he did stop for a little while after he realised the consequences of his actions.

But the off-screen noise was pure comedic drama.
