On the ATP website there is an interview Tim Henman has done with Sampras and Djokovic. Sampras was asked what elements of Djokovic's game would he liked to have. Sampras replied that he would have liked to have Novak's return and speed. I am not surprised he wanted Novak's return, as it is probably the greatest return in history. But I was surprised Pistol Pete said he wanted Novak's speed. Novak is lightning fast but Pete was a great mover too. Novak said he would love to have Pete's serve and volley. I wouldn't disagree with Novak on that, though I think he need's Pete's overhead even more than he needs his volley. If I were Sampras and I could take 2 elements of Djokovic's game, I would take his return and backhand.
