Not able to but do you live in the area or are you just visiting? I have a friend in Seattle I'd like to visit this year and would love to play tennis while I'm there. (Also 4.5)

I live here. But just came back after a year out of the country, and my tennis Rolodex of always-available players is out of date.

Yeah it seems like you travel a lot. Hopefully I visit while you're in town. I can't help fill the rolodex but I'd still love to play. Look out for a message from me sometime.

Is anyone able to play singles tomorrow night at Sand Point 8:45p? (I'm 4.5)
Hi,

Missed this but if you would like to get out and hit, I'm at Sandpoint all the time for my son's tennis lessons. Would like to go out and hit with folks but like you dont have a rolodex at all here in seattle. Probably 4.5 level.

Let me know.

There are tennis courts at Sand Point now? It was a semi-closed naval base when I lived in apartment across the street in the 90s as a UW student. I heard they turned it into a park. I’d like to play but I’m in Connecticut now.

NOAA still uses a small part of the former naval base, but it is now Magnuson Park with athletic fields, dog park, wetlands, beach, and yes, Tennis Center Sand Point.

Hey, just seeing this. Would love to get together or organize a gathering. Last one I remember was about 15 years ago and was super well attended. 4.5 here as well, and my club is in Kirkland.

Evenings and weekends - indoor courts hard to come by this time of year, so anyone with good court access becomes more popular here.

I could come over some time. I play at Central Park in Kirkland .

we are playing sand point USTA 4.5 40+ on Sunday night ( feb 2nd)

Hey, it is you! I've seen a few of your posts and have wondered if it could be....

If you don't know who I am, I'm your captain on the 55+ 9.0 team. Since we've never played doubles together, this may be my chance to partner with you. Since I suck immensely at doubles, I'll practice up saying "Yours!"

Do we have enough guys and gals for some doubles? I'm probably more like a 3.5 dubs player but I'll fake it the best I can.

I think that we have five so enough for one court of doubles or a couple of courts of singles. Our Club is right at the beginning of a week long tournament so courts are scarce for the next week or so. I was also thinking of going to the event at Mill Creek with the various racquet sponsors having demos of their racquets, and that happens on February 1st. So how about we shoot for February 8th in the early evening, either in Seattle or Kirkland?

EDIT: Just realized that February 8th is the Fed Cup event in Everett, with Serena, Sofia, and Coco. Is anyone going to that and should we push this out a week to the 15th?

I had a nice hit with @travlerajm tonight at Central Park Tennis Club in Kirkland. I believe the last time we hit was in 2006! We each brought a stash of vintage and unusual racquets to try, and I got to hit with his Profile 2.7si. I don't think I missed a single volley with that racquet!

So let's get a firm count for hitting at, say 7:30 pm next Thursday at Central Park. Who is available?
