Should I buy a Gamma 7500, Revo 4000, or the new Laserfibre??

Well I am running into a dilema. I would like your advice on 3 stringers. I will be stringing rackets for myself and a few of my tennis buddies and not quite sure what stringer I want. I currently use a Klippermate and would like an upgrade. Here they are:

Alpha Revo (new) 600.00

Lasrefibre Quantum (new) $700.00

Gamma 7500 ELS (used) $950.00

All prices include shipping

The Gamma has had about 200 racquets or less strung on it.

Please provide some insight.

Thanks, Chris

Between the Apha Revo and the new LF Quantum, I'd pick the LF Quantum if it lives up to the hype around it, because the Revo is just a crank system while the Quantum is supposed to have the Smart Weight tensioning system that provides true constant pull in 1 single pull.

The used Gamma 7500 ELS seems like a great deal at $950 since a new one runs over $3K easily. I don't know anything about the Gamma machine, but that one looks like a no brainer choice just based on price.

The stringforum.net has some old negative reviews posted on its cousin the Gamma 8500 ELS being out of calibration or something like that. So you might want to check that out first.

I would go with the Gamma 7500, electronic machines produce the best tension and are much easier to use. LF was supposed to be shipping machines, but so far I have not found any pictures. The Revo 4000 has the older style 6 point (6 knobs to adjust) mounting system, plus no stand.

I have owned and used drop weights, cranks, and electronic tensioner machines, the Electronic is by far the best and easiest to use.

For $900 it is a steal!

as long as it is in good shape, the 7500 ELS sounds like a great deal. I don't know much about the machine, but both gamma and alpha have fantastic customer service. For 950, you are definitely getting alot for your money.
