only sold online (though free shipping to your local walmart with site to store even for 1 pack of string where you don't have to spend $75 or more for free shipping), maybe if you get a walmart gift card and don't have anything else to buy, maybe you can return your strings if they suck? ;)

There is already a thread on this. I'm too lazy to look it up. Walmart is simply drop shipping these items from another distributor.

I am interested to see if anyone in the walmart corporation has any knowledge of the tennis supplies they sell. I would like to see someone chat online, or ask for help on tennis supplies.

thats pretty funny stuff. you guys think it tarnishes their brand a little (as a high end string brand) by making this move?

lux goes where wilson goes....poly is really going to be the string for the masses very soon. And lux will be how Wilson participates, once they can fine tune tension maint and comfort, which is right about there in 3rd gen polys....

Wal-Mart takes over Wilson and Luxilon.

Soon it starts distributing Equate Big Banger Rough for $2.99 a set, $29.99 a reel.

Do a search for Tennis on the Wal-Mart site and you'll be in for a big surprise. Yes, the do sell Stringing machines.
