Slams won where the player wore their pants backwards in the trophy ceremony:

Federer 1
Everyone else 0

This stat is utterly, completely meaningless, you know that right?

Exactly the kind I’d expect from a revered professor of Lewisian statistics.

Djokovic 19
Nadal 17

You know there is a tennis tournament going on now? You might have heard of it, it is in England, the United Kingdom.

Keep your rubbish stat peddling for the off-season.

I don't know why should someone be fined for being born earlier and winning earlier. It's Like Federer should have waited for Djokovic to get in top 10 and then told himself "Okay now I can start wining my slams ,they will now be validated"

The second anyone starts discounting any Slam win, you immediately know that they have an agenda and should not be taken seriously.

Putting context around victories and making historical comparisons is one thing. Spouting “weak era” nonsense is the worst part of this website. A Slam is a Slam.

Of course this ignores how they actually played on the day.

Djokovic is the best of the best; Nadal is the best on clay; Federer is the best of the not so good.

Kidding aside, it really shows that, when all 3 were on their game and rolling, Djokovic was the one to take it. I bet a lot of Nadal's 17 'wins' came at RG, where it didn't really matter who were in the field.

03-07 -> 12 slams win facing Roddick, Hewitt, Bagdhatis, Baby Nadal, Kiefer. Only 4/12 slams win facing big4.

08-12 -> 5 slams won, with only 2 going through big4.

Why the huge drop in results? Peak ended aged 26? :unsure:
