Bionic Poster
Unbelievable insider info!
There are posters here that this place does not deserve.
Love this intro by Tina Turner for Thunderdome
Though We Don't Need Another Hero is the one that is more iconic, rightfully so.

'80s, dude.Love this intro by Tina Turner for Thunderdome

'80s, dude.
The "I'll Be Back" line only happened because Cameron insisted on it. Arnie wanted to say "I Will Be Back". But Cameron said no, because he wanted to show that The Terminator was picking up the local style of talking.
Interesting trivia. Never knew so much though went behind that line... and I agree with Cameron.
Some more of the 80s magic for ya all.
This is hard to beat for me.
There's a spinoff thread coming, dudes. I sense it.
The '80s jams... time... place...
Who smells it?
This one has a special place in my heart, this was the first ever music I did any competitive posing to on a body building stage, it was in South Florida, a little drive from South Beach.
I remember in the movie, this is where Kurt is training and is almost ready for the final fight.
I said what I said Total Recall can stay too, all that other mess can go
Seagal was on fire for a while. haha Crazy to think about. I believe the first ever internet emotion chart meme I saw was of Seagal's acting range. But damn, he came out of the gates firing with above the law/Nico. (This is good). Hard to kill ( goat list. haha I don't care what anybody says. This is classic stuff, and you can take that to the bank. The blood bank). Pretty much everything up to the Glimmer Man was decent at worst in my own rating system. Exit Wounds was quite good later on.
Legendary.
@Poisoned Slice
-i always hated the way he "ran"!!
-also hated how he "slapped people arround", and never got his hair out of place!! haaa

My favorites in no particular order as they are all equally awesome: 1) Conan the Barbarian 2) Total Recall.3) Terminator 4) Predator. Memorable lines: "Git to duh choppa ", " I'll be back", "You one ugly mudder pucker", "crush you enemies, see them driven before you, and.to hear the laminations of der women. "

Haven't seen Cobra. Will add to the Covid-19 movie list.Haha - So basically all the food scenes!
Cobra was originally the story line for Beverly Hills Cop, and with Stallone in the lead. Last minute they decided they wanted to do a comedy instead, but Stallone was not interested in making an action comedy, so they took on Eddie Murphy. Sly put Cobra on the backbench for a while, and went onto make Rambo II and then Rocky IV, which were two of the three biggest blockbusters of 1985, only Back to the Future was more successful.
If you watch Beverly Hills Cop 2, there is a scene where you see a Cobra poster on the wall, that was a reference to this. Cobra is such a re-watchable movie for me, saw it about three week back again.
Steven Seagal is still making the low budget “B” movies mostly in the Far East. He usually plays the boss - CIA section head, mob boss, Military General, Prison Warden, etc... Not to much hand to hand since he is obese. Still act cool, solid black hair and talks his usual style! Seagal has not appear in a Hollywood produced movie in a long time now. Lots of American actors are doing the Far East B movie scene too but Seagal was one of the 1st to be doing it in the 2000s.
T2 was almost a perfect movie, but the "what's that in your eye?" sappy convo with the kid killed it for me, so I can't put it up there with my Arnold faves like T1 and Predator, which stay serious and true to the strengths of the pure Arnold SciFi/Action genre. True Lies nailed it well on the Comedy/Action combo genre.

Here is the DFW T2 essay that I'd mentioned in this thread last night. The footnotes offer a ton of "color commentary."T2 was almost a perfect movie, but the "what's that in your eye?" sappy convo with the kid killed it for me, so I can't put it up there with my Arnold faves like T1 and Predator, which stay serious and true to the strengths of the pure Arnold SciFi/Action genre. Yes. I would say T2 is not quite as bad as that commentary suggests, but there are plenty of movies that qualify. My wife and I walked out of Transformers 3 (or was it 4?)after the first 45 minutes, bored of constant FX with no plot. Avatar had some of the same issues as T2. Avatar was overall much better than T2 in my opinion, but Cameron still couldn't help himself. Sappy lines like "wehki wehki" kept it from realizing its full potential. Here is the DFW T2 essay that I'd mentioned in this thread last night. The footnotes offer a ton of "color commentary."
Aliens is another example of one of Cameron's almost-perfect movies. The scenes with Newt were the weakest parts of the film.T2 was the movie that Cameron originally wanted to do, but felt he couldn't make it back in early to mid 80s, so he told the story of Sarah Connor. Interesting bit of info, Arnie was meant to play the role of Kyle Reese, but he loved the Terminator character so much, he asked that he play him. Then, because he was contractually obliged to make Conan The Destroyer, he couldn't shoot the scenes for Terminator...this allowed Cameron to have six months free, where he sat down and wrote the script for Aliens, and after the success of Terminator was given the green light to make that epic Aliens movie as the perfect follow up to Terminator.
She was a stunner. That was easy to get a stone cold pun in. Hard to kill is my favorite.Peak Seagal was Above The Law/Nico, Hard To Kill, Marked For Death, Out For Justice, Under Siege, Under Siege 2, On Dangerous Ground and The Glimmer Man. I saw all six of this movies in order again back in April. I just love his vengeful ways, he just goes into bars and tears everything apart without breaking a sweat. Co starred with his wife at time in Hard to Kill, the same girl who was in Weird Science.
Have you seen his movie, that co-stars Stone Cold Steve Austin?
Predator gets my vote for the best quintessential Arnold movie.Come on! I'm right here! Do it! Kill me! Do it now!!
Get to the Choppa!!
-i hope they keep going with this series!!; at least a couple more (good ones)
- i would like to see a couple Expendabelles movies also!!

I'm not sure how this movie got by me. I'm going to have a look at it.
Man...I remember that psycho Night slasher! The guy who plays him was among the punks who were massacred by the Terminator (1984).Yeah, totally see it coming...
The themes were so bada$$ that even in this epic trailer for Cobra, you don't even need any dialogue, the epic music does enough by itself.
Come on! I'm right here! Do it! Kill me! Do it now!!

I was 13 years old in 1986, when the Time magazine cover story declared Aliens to be 3.5/4 stars, providing solid ammo for me to convince my parents to take my bro and me to an R-rated movie in the theatre for the first time.I wouldn't say all the scenes with Newt were weak, I mean this face hugger medical scene was done to perfection. The tension was so insanely palpable here.
Another classic...Carpenter is one of my favorite directors.
