Hi guys, I'm a total newbie to stringing.

I'm very curious to learn how to string my own racquets as an additional hobby, and probably string racquets for my friends once I'm more competent.

However, I'm living in Singapore where it's extremely rare for anyone to string their own racquets, therefore, cheap home stringing machines are not readily available.

Can you all recommend a brand new stringer under US$300 that will have prompt customer service and parts availability?

You could check out the SP Swing...Not sure what shipping is going to cost you. Everything I have read about customer service has been excellent, but with drop weights usually nothing goes wrong...

Hope this helps - Good Luck

jonolau you can contact Gamma Sports Singapore @ 656-561-3274 if your are interested in a Gamma machine.

I would recommend a 602 or a X-6 stringing machine. I'm not sure what the conversion rate is but it should be in your price range.

Thank you Bret. Do you have a website I can access?

It's okay, I've located the site. What would you recommend for a beginner between the 2 models you mentioned? Obviously the 602 has more bells and whistles and the X6 seems to be a more entry level machine.

At first glance, I do like the 602, looks more durable.
