Strings: Polyester, Synthetic blend.. Questions from a Former Pro..

I currently use Topspin CyberFlash 16 or 17 gauge....
I also experimented with Wilson Enduro Pro, Enduro Tour, Kirshbaum Polyesters...Wilson Sensation...

Playing with a lot of topspin.. can anyone give me some ideas for a good blend or recommendations for types of strings and what to mix it with? Does it make sense to play with All Cyberflash Polyester at say... 52/53 lbs...Is it better to blend it?

Thanks...

EDIT: I'm playing with Wilson kFactor kBlade 98', 4 1/4 grip size

I think it's preference man.

From what I have read, Cyberflash is a forum favorite. I don't use it as I like soft polys.

I would ask you, what about your string do you not like?

Or, what characterics do you like but think could be even better with another string?

The grass really is always greener, I promise, it's just that once it belongs to you it begins to turn brown.

Yes it is certainly preference. It's very awkward though, as strings feel great in the beginning, but after a few weeks they don't.

Does Topspin lose tension fast? Maybe that's why. Any ideas on what to blend it with or what to string it at? I'm currently stringing all racquets at around 52 lbs. I play with a lot of spin.

What you describe there is what happens to all polys. They lose tension and playability quickly. Generally after 6-12 hrs of play a poly is done and needs to be restung. This range is subjective and you will here different concepts, but the point is all polys go dead quickly.

I basically restring a racket about once a week if i play with the same one all week or if I rotate between my two, then I make it two weeks.

Cf is bad on tens. loss. Blue gear with vs team crosses for spin/power. vs team mains with blackcode crosses for power/touch. 45lbs mains/55lbs crosses.

Signum Pro Poly Plasma has great tension stability if you are looking for something that lasts longer. It is the low end for power. Control is good, solid feel and average spin. It is really solid all around but not outstanding except in how well it holds tension. It also isn't terrible in one way or another like many polys.

Yeah SPPP is a great all round poly, pretty soft and holds tension really well. I loved the 1.18 gauge.
