Summer Tennis Clinic

Hi

I recently moved from the East coast to the Mid West (central IL). I have been playing tennis for quite sometime now and I’m a good 4.0 level player 28 years old. I’m thinking of starting a summer tennis clinic for beginner and intermediate kids between the age 5 to 12. I have never done this before and there is no clinic’s here for kids so I thought why don’t I start one this summer.

I have some plans on how to run the clinic, started creating a website and fliers. I’m not sure how many will attend, I’m not even sure if the parents will be interested in sending their kids to the clinic.

I would like some tips or comments from the users here about the tennis clinic. I thought let me put the question out there in the hope it will help me plan the clinic better.

maybe volunteer with the USTA clinnic this summer to get a better idea and then do your own next year? first determine demand though.
