Swingweight question

Generally speaking.....is a racquet with a lower swingweight less demanding (easier to generate head speed....less fatigue) than a higher sw stick? What if the lower sw stick weighs more than the higher sw one? I hope this makes sense. I other words...if I feel that I want to go a bit "lighter"...can I look at swingweight rather than actual weight?

Lower swingweight means it's easier to get moving fast (more power and mobility) but also less momentum on impact (more shock and less power). It's a trade-off. Yes, a lower-swingweight frame will feel lighter; along with balance it may be more significant than static weight in how a racquet feels. Hope this helps....

Swingweight effects how much effort it takes to get the racquet moving from a stationary position(i.e. not moving). Many players speak of maneuverability when they are referring to swingweight and balance. A frame with a high swingweight and a head heavy balacne is not going to be as easy/quick to react, especially on volleys on balls with a lot of pace.
