I've generally hit with traditional rackets - often with lead. I hit well with the Technifiber and enjoyed it, but when demoing it, it just seemed to be missing something on the serve and I was losing a league match. Switched to my Prince Graphite Mid which I hadn't hit with in a while and won the match. Very little transition between the rackets and a similar traditional feel except for the bit of metallic feel in the Technifiber (Texalium - kind of like the old Yonex Ti 70s feel). Definitely an open string pattern and lots of spin on the POG. You really might like it.
In the end, I ended up getting the MG Prestige Pro. Again, open string pattern. I can get great spin with the Luxilon Spin string. Good power, and similar flex to the Technifiber and POG (POG's feel is more flexy than the numbers because of the flexible head). A little lead to up the swingweight and you will be happy.
