Tactics for a player with a better backhand

I'd like to know how to get the most out of me having a stronger forehand than backhand. Most tactics nowadays revolve around big serve and big forehand, but I'd like to know how to set up points to give me more backhands.

I realize it depends on the opponent, but where should I be serving to in order to get a backhand? Any rallying tactics? A former coach suggested looping forehands down the line to get a weak reply pushed towards my backhand side...

People generally like to hit at least kinda cross court. So if you serve out wide on the ad side and down the middle on the deuce side - you will get more balls hit to your backhand.. That is unless your opponent discovers your forehand is like awful and tries to just send everything that way.. (this is assuming you are right handed..)

Basically hit to his backhand to get more backhands. Assuming you are both right handed.

As to how to win points, here is a play I like to use.

1. Hit well angled backhand crosscourt.
Opponent hopefully drops reply short and central. If not, repeat step 1.

2. Hit well angled early forehand crosscourt.
should get your opponent running, leaving you with even shorter reply. If not, repeat from step 1.

3. Hit really early crosscourt backhand winner into the open court.

here is another one.

1. Hit well angled backhand crosscourt.

2. if replay is short but to your backhand, hit up the line. if not, repeat step 1, or see above.

3. Hit forehand crosscourt behind your opponent, wrong footing him as he scrambles to cover the open court.

I have the same issue. Anything short on the backhand I can put away with a topspin DTL and sharp crosscourt angle.

One thing I found helpful was to never show that shot during warmup. :)
But yeah, basically you want to hit to his backhand so his high percentage play will be to hit to your backhand.
