Teaching Pros in Phoenix area

Anyone know much about teaching pros in the Phoenix area? I've seen a few threads mentioning people at Paseo, Gold Key, & one or two others... but surely there's more knowledge out there regarding who are the good pros.

Any suggestions appreciated, especially with:

1. Good at teaching 1H BH.
2. At a facility that allows for non-members to take lessons.

Lasse at the Chandler Tennis Center is great especially if you want an aerobic workout as well. Google Southwest Tennis Academy to contact him. Also Josh Bates who teaches at Wild Horse Resort is good as well.

Scottsdale Athletic Club allows non-member as drop-ins to their clinic, I think adults are Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7 pm but you should call and ask.

I've heard a lot of good things about Greg Prudhomme at Paseo (like you mentioned) - you might also want to check out the Wigwam resort (West Valley) and Fountain Hills (East Valley)

Thanks for the replies so far.

Ideally this would be a pro who is great at teaching stroke mechanics, including footwork. Not looking for an intense workout per se.

Brian Cheney @ The Village is an amazing teaching pro. Not just strokes but also an amazing competitor (~ top 5 or 10 in USA in his age group). IMO one of the best if not THE best in PHX area.

They probably have non-member rates for privates; call & ask.
