Tennis Duffle Bag Users -- Why?

Looking to upgrade my 6 pack bag to pick up a 9 pack bag. Specifically eyeing the 9 pack from Babolat.

Never considered it before or never paid much attention to it but since I started researching more bags, the idea of a Tennis Duffle bag slowly creeped up.

I do like the appeal of its "multi purpose" aspect of being able to it as a normal gym or commuter bag. I would guess the downside would be that it would not really hold its shape as well if the bag only have 1 or 2 racquet and light on gear.

I will be carrying 2-3 racquets, maybe 4 occasionally.

Again, going back to the "multi purpose" aspect, for a weekend trip, I would definitely imagine using it as a "carry all bag", 2 or 3 racquets, balls, laptop (with protective case of course), chargers, sports attire and work clothes, shoes.

Curious if anyone is/was in a similar situation or uses a duffle bag can chime in? What do you like/dislike about a tennis duffle compared to say a standard 9-pack tennis bag?

2 duffle bag that stood out in particular were:

Tecnifibre Tour Endurance RS Rackpack L Bag

Head Gravity 6 Pack Sport Tennis Bag

I recently swapped to a Gravity Duffle from a 12 racket bag.

Not going to use it for anything other than tennis (i.e. won't likely be repurposing it for the gym or anything - have another bag for that).

Main benefit I've had so far is space, whereas the 12 pack may have fit the same stuff, it was a lot more stuffed together.

Typical 12 pack setup was:
CCT - 3-4 "match" rackets
Opposite Racket Compartment - 3-4 "random" rackets (i.e. stuff i want to mess around with if I want to experiment/hit with something different)
Middle compartment - Tubes of balls, spare clothes, water bottle, blanket.
Shoe Compartment - Shoes, spare pairs of socks

The duffle fits all of that and has space for a lot more, the dividers inside the duffle also means it all pretty much stays in position.

For me, the design of the Gravity duffle was also more comfortable to wear compared to the 12 pack which felt more awkward to wear on the back.

Mind linking to the Gravity Duffle you are referring to?

Interesting.
I've not seen any tennis duffle in person but I would think the opposite.
A typical tennis 9 or 12 pack with the backpack have the slope which is easier on the spine, whereas the duffle is simply a square which would make it more awkward to carry in the same backpack style...

TW duffle is amazing for the money. No climate pockets though so I'm not using it until it gets cooler.

I bought the R-PET version of this:

The difference between this and the Sport Bag that you linked is just the extra CCT compartment for my "match" rackets (or just more rackets in general).

As for being more comfortable than the 12 pack, i do think that's just a design issue for the Gravity Monstercombi:

The shoulder straps taper a lot to the top and it just made it a bit "tight" around that area.

I didn't have an issue with the previous Radical Monstercombi i used before, which has the shoulder straps on the other side, and actually spaced apart; although i originally replaced that because i didn't like the straps getting dragged along the floor when putting the bag down (i do kick it around a lot) and like the idea of the dual shoulder strap/carry handle system that the Gravity/Tour Team line uses.
