Baghdatis Pro Stock?

That I don’t know but it is VT98 Pro mold (throat shape + 330g unstrung) in M Speed Pro PJ. Sweet hit, missed that feel.

Do new 252s play something like this gem? Played my best tennis in a long while today.

Could somebody compare the current pacific pro 1 252 with some other current rackets in terms of power and control?

Which current racquets? It’s a 16x20 in 98” head so it plays as such. Really good control with some putaway power due to tapered beam. It does not get any better than 330g VT98PRO (252 mold) if you want a control frame with easy power. 305g unstrung Pro 1 252 might need some lead treatment to fit into that statement but the potential is definitely there. Plus that mold truly feels like a prostock production.

Thank you for your response....
I have a couple of x force lt no.1 252 that I have leaded up to 315gr 31.25cm balance, 300 SW (unstrung) (this is a 270gr frame with a sw of 251 stock). This modified stick has wonderful awesome feel, feedback, comfort and control, but I think it lacks a little in stability and power compared to let's say a v7 blade 18x20 or a vcore pro 97 hd. I was wondering if the normal version or the x force pro would have equal or more power.... Or I was thinking of adding a little more lead at 3/9 to improve stability and bring the whole thing to 320gr and 305 sw..... I don't know....

I played 330g unstrung VT98PRO (in the picture few posts up) back to back with Yonex VCore Tour G330 yesterday and the only difference I felt was swingweight/increase in RHS which is a huge compliment to Fischer engineering because retail frames don’t come much more beastly than 330 Tour G.

Not sure how the lighter versions of 252 are made. Angell racquets for instance have the same hoop, the only difference between weight/balance options are weights in handle slots so it’s easy to bump the specs of lighter options by lead or silicone. Not sure if the 252 Lite hoop is the same as the heavier version. You’re already at 315g so the only option you have, really, is to add lead to 3/9 bit by bit and hopefully find a power/stability/maneuverability sweetspot. Maybe longer stripes along 3/9 instead of concentrated weight would do the trick.

^^^ what he said.

The '252' flexes a little more in the throat. Whether that's a good or bad thing depends on what you prefer.

IMO, the X Force Pro plays very similarly to the Babolat Pure Storm, except the X Force Pro 'feels' better...
Yes you feel the pro 1 252 flex in different sections And in different stages depending on the shot. The x force pro flexes as one, Uniformly.
The x force lt 252 I have has an RA of 59 strung and yes it flexes noticeably in the throat area. The feel is crisp (not muted) and it's very comfortable. Should I expect same power as the pro no.1 at the same weight/sw? I think I read @McLovin had done a similar experiment with a light version havily leaded racquet before... what were your conclusions of that compared to the "regular" ones?

Can't agree more. When I tried to switch from my Fischer Pro No 1 FT, the only racket that came close was Pure Storm, but it was weaker in 2 areas. Pure storm felt more muted and extra 0.25 inch on Fischer gave me bit of extra pop on the serve. Eventually I gave up finding another racket and went back to Fischer M Tour 100 SL (320gm unstrung). Those days I used to play 4 days a week and my shoulder used to be constantly tired. So I had moved down to Pro No 1 for lighter weight. Now I am playing only once a week, and there is no better racket than M Tour SL, stable, lively and arm friendly. It's shame that people don't know about these gems and spend hundreds of dollars on rackets that give them tennis elbow.

Watch this space next few days will show you all something special.
Feeling a tad nostalgic, so I dug out this beauty & restrung it w/ my new string (Laserfibre Native Tour):

It's the predecessor to the M-Comp 95, but they made it 16x18 (M-Comp was 16x19) and it was extended. The feel is amazing, but it was just a little too underpowered for me in my 'advanced' age. But...I strung it at 45lbs, so maybe I'll get a little more pop?

any thoughts on how the 2020 pro no 1 252 plays? the matte finish looks great.

Bit softer, bit more muted. Nothing substantial however. I think I like it a bit more than the previous model, but that may only be due to the paintjob being 10 times more durable. The previous model's paint was chipping incredibly fast.

TY--now how to get one to America......

Played with one today. It’s a little bit stiffer and longer And rawer than a retail frame. Will take some getting used to. Higher rewards If you can access them but harder work accessing them. I guess pro stocks are like formula one cars.

I have an opprtunity to buy white Vacuum SC Mid 14x19; I belive it's twin sister of cyan one, and both they're predecessors of Stich's Pro 90.

Anyone can recollect specs?

How do you think, what's the fair price for one in 8/10 condition (maybe 7 it's hard to say basing only on slighty blurry pictures?

I had a few of Baggy’s cypress blue pj frames. Great feel but big SW, they were brutal to swing. I used the VT98 in college, loved that frame. Interested to hear they are releasing a new version finally, but again trying to get them in the US may be problematic...

TWE may, but until there is a new distributor in the US, TW will likely not carry the Pacific brand at all (and neither will any other US retailers).

If you see any Pacific products for sale in the US, its likely what stock they have remaining, and once its gone, its gone for good.

Hey guys, getting back into Tennis, and without reading all 37 pages... What happened? I was disappointed to log into TW and see Pacific isn't available any more.

I pinged TW’s main competitor and they said they are planning on carrying the new pacific line in the US. They wouldn’t tell me when they will be available though...
