The Next Dominant Player

So looking ahead in tennis after the current Generation of Murray, Nadal, Novak, etc retire it looks like the generation after is pretty weak. Janowicz, Nishikori, Dimitrov, Raonic, and Pospisil are going to be the 5 best players (unless someone has a meteoric rise) from that generation and they look rather unimpressive (as far as potential prospects for a dominant #1 go). Nishikori will probably be the most consistent and most successful out of the group and will be something like a lesser Ferrer.

However I am very excited about the generation after that. I think the next truly dominant #1 is going to come from those who are teenagers right now. I know a lot of people are big on Christian Harrison, Kyle Edmund, and Stefan Kozlov, but I don't think they can be top players. The 2 that have caught my eye are Nick Kyrgios (1st year as a pro and is already 186 in the rankings) and Gianluigi Quinzi (355 in the world his 1st year as a pro). I personally think Kyrgios will be the better one because he moves so much better, his backhand isn't as muscled (Quinzi locks both arms for whatever reason but hey it works), and lastly he definitely has the mental toughness that most juniors simply do not.

Anyways love to hear your thoughts
