Murray needed someone who knew what it was like to lose a lot of slam finals. Kyrgios needs someone who can give him other reasons to fulfill his potential than love of the sport. Borg even helped McEnroe to chill a bit back in the day. Added to this he would surely have something to offer on kyrgios's movement and fitness/preparation.
