Thoughts on K-Swiss Ultra Express?

Based on the reviews here and Tennis magazine, I ordered a pair of these in the blue/orange color.

Does anyone have any experience they can share? For reference, I have used Vapors and Lunar Ballistecs in the past.

After playing in them last night, I really like these shoes. They feel like a sturdier vapor. Will have to see how they hold up, but initial reaction is great.

I love mine. They are a good combination of lightweight comfortable stability for me. I'm not particularly hard on shoes so haven't had any issue with the durability, although I can see where it might be a problem for some. I want to get another color now.

I bought them and returned them because they did not fit me right. Got the Big Shot and am very happy with them. They are also light but I like the fact they have the 6 month durability guarantee.

Which color do you have? I bought the orange and blue, and ordered the red based on enjoying the orange and blue.

I'm a woman, so I got the women's neon red color, which is more of a bright coralish orange-red than the men's red. They now have a nice green and gray combo that I like.

I really hope they keep coming out with fun colors and the model is avaialable for a bit.

Just go these too. Did u go with the same size as you would for the Zoom Vapor Tours?

Can anyone tell me if these fit true to size? Same as Vapor Tours?

Tried these again today and they make my toes feel cramped. That is in my usual size. Maybe I need to go up 1/2 size?

I love the shoe, but the area around the eyelets did not hold up for me. I ended up ripping through the eyelet area and then it tears into the fabric, eventually tearing all the way. Seems like they should've spent the extra $.10 on metal eyelets and they would've been perfect.

I ended up returning them due to the cramped fit around the toes. Much prefer my Nike Vapor Tour 9.5s.

That's my default shoe, too. But the Solution Speed 2 are also great. Really looking forward to the Cages.

Arli, you were right on the money with the Solution Speed 2's. Tried them today and they felt very similar to the Vapors. Much better fit and more comfortable than the Ultra Express.

Did you take the same size in the Speed 2's as the Vapors?

I did, but the Speed 2s feel slightly longer, but not uncomfortable.

I noticed more room in the toes, but I figure I can negate that with thick socks and/or different inserts.

I wear a 11.5 in the Nike Vapor Tours and the 11.5 in the Speed 2's feels a bit too large. I went back today and the 11's in the Speed 2's seems comparable to the 11.5's in the Vapors. I was expecting the 11s to feel tight against my toes, but they didn't. Need to try them again and decide on which size to get.
