Tie off bottom cross on O3 Red

To those who string Prince O3 Red sticks - do you guys always tie off the last cross at 9T which is on a cross and is marked on the frame as the correct tie off? I just restrung my O3 Red with a full poly, and found that the string traffic was just too heavy across 9T. So I tied off at 8T, which is a main. Interestingly, 8T has been enlarged by Prince as though they want you to use it as the tie off "grommet". Any comments?

The first time i strung a Red I tied off on 8t because thats where it looked logical, and I missed the printing on the frame for 9t but since then I have always used 9t, just use a bit of chap stick to get it through, very easy with a poly.

Just make sure you cut the string long enough that you can pre-weave the last cross and insert it into the hole of the 18th cross to tie off. Insert it before you pull tension on the previous cross and it's a lot easier to thread.

Good advice here.
