Tournament with wooden rackets

I thought it would be very interesting, althought it would never happen, to see a tournament where all pros played with a wooden racket. (say a Jack Kramer)

What man would win? woman?

yeah forget the different surfaces now lets put in different racquet tournaments!

I think they already hold something of this kind, but nothing officially added to the tour yet.

If all the pros played one woody tournament after all are accustomed to using wood, I would pick Federer for the men and JHH for the women.

And NASCAR can start racing with 120HP engines; the NBA can be a 6'2" and under league; the NFL will only let guys under 200lbs play...blah, blah, blah.

Progress in racket technology - deal with it. The answer, as Andy alluded to, lies with the surface. They can set the mowers higher at Wimbledon, add grit to the Rebound Ace in Melbourne and the hardcourts in NYC, and water or scrap the clay depending on whether they want to go faster or slower.
