Tsung-Hua Yang: Roland Garros Junior Champion

I can't remember the last time a male Asian player won or even got into a final of a Junior Grand Slam event. Never got to see the guy hit a ball (due to nbc's coverage) but he seems promising.

According to this ITF article (http://www.itftennis.com/juniors/news/newsarticle.asp?articleid=18791), the kid came back from being down 0-5 in the second set to win the title in straight sets; pretty impressive and shows good heart.

Hopefully along with Kei Nishikori, there will be a future Asian presence on the ATP tour now that Paradorn is gone and Hyung-Taik Lee is in the decline.

Any comments or insights? Anyone see this kid play before and can describe his game?

Hopefully we will see another asian soon. Long live Michael Chang!

I love watching Kei Nishikori. Watched his match against Blake and that was impressive.

When DY won the Aussie jrs, the guy he beat in the finals was Korean. Also, when Tomic won the Aussie jrs this year, he beat this kid here in the finals.

I don't know why but all these Asian Juniors that does great in the Juniors, totally suck when they come up to the ATP tour for some reason.

Do great or well, not does great, Dr. Fedace. That Stanford degree is really paying dividends, huh?
