TW Volkl Organix 10 295g demo strings?

Was hoping someone from TW might be able to help me. I demo'd the Volkl Organix 10 295g racquet some time ago and loved it. Though I have no idea what type of strings or tension was used on the demo. The strings were black with what appeared to be a be faint silver X in them. The feel of the racquet was wonderful. It had a tremendous sweet spot and the ball felt like it stayed in the string bed forever offering incredible control, spin and power.

I then purchased 2 of these racquets and had to pick something for the first-time stringing. Went w/ a posted recommendation of M57 Babolat VS Touch with X54 Luxilon ALU Power Rough. It's OK but feels entirely too stiff and tight, nothing like the racquet I demo'd.

I apologize for the poor description of the demo racquet strings but was hoping someone from TW might be able to assist. Thanks!

Been playing with this racquet for several weeks. Have added 3 grams of weight to it at 3/6/9 o'clock. Has enabled me to hit harder and generate more power. Though I've just not been able to match the ball pocketing, feel and control I had with the same racquet I demo'd from TW. Frustrating.

Currently have it strung with Babolat Xcel at about 55 lbs which simple seems too stiff still. Have to kill the ball to get enough power and pace to stay in a point. Whereas the TW demo I had felt as if the ball sat in the string bed for eternity. When people said this racquet was string sensitive, I underestimated just what they meant.

Feel as if this racquet getting pushed around. Hate wide, stuff racquets but am debating selling both of my 295g models and stepping up to something with a stiffer frame.

I love this racquet but wound up going with a Pacific X Force for the exact reason you cited. The other lightweight that didn't get pushed around much was the TF T Fight 295. If you are looking for terrific feel and more power in a 295 gram stick, check out the PK Ki Q5. Warts notwithstanding, I will still probably pick up an Organix 10 295 to hit with occasionally -- it is a very sweet grip-it and rip-it racquet.

I play O10 295 but customized 12.1 oz, 6 HL, and ~333 SW.

I am currently playing TF NRG2 17G mains at 52 lbs with TF RuffCode 17G poly cross at 48 lbs and like it a lot.

If you want to play all multi, try stringing the mains at 54 and the crosses at 52 lbs to soften the bed and get a little more dwell time. Some say to even use a bigger differential like 54/50. I use 4 lbs difference but I am mixing multi and poly.

By the way, the new Volkl V1 Pro is due in August 2013. Smaller beam (~23 mm), ~11 oz strung and smaller head (99") than other V1 rackets sounds interesting if you want lighter and more power.

OK. Am struggling. Teammates commenting on how fluid my ground strokes are yet am unable to generate much pace. For kicks, am going to demo a couple Babolat and prince racquets. Depending on how it goes, will sell my like new O 295g x 2. Each is about 3 mos old with new strings.

I think Prince is going to update their lines soon and Babolat is releasing the successor to the AeroStorm, as well.

Demo'd the Babolat AeroPro Drive GT this afternoon and really liked it. Though it would be an adjustment. Am going to play test it during a match Fri night.

Xeropwnage, I couldn't find a way to PM you here, but wondered if you're still interested in the Volkl Organix 10 295g's. Both were purchased in April 2013. One is lightly used, the other is newly strung but unused. Both strung at 55 lbs with Babolat Xcel by my local club pro.
